About Theo

This classic red boy is Theo. He was born 8/1/2020 and weighs 41 pounds. For those who know the breed, we know this is a fantastic age: Plenty of energy and past the juvenile stage. Theo is a smart guy who adores fetch. He will 'drop it' with his ball during fetch and if you point to where you want it at your feet, he will bring it closer. He also will sit when offered a treat or want to play ball. Click on the red YouTube button to see him fetching. He is an inside/outside dog who has not had any potty accidents inside. He is looking for an inside home with someone who is ready for a best buddy. Theo is good with people and is polite meeting new people. He is too busy for small kids as he may knock them over or herd them. Theo is good with other dogs. He does find some dogs he likes to play with. He has been polite living with two senior chihuahuas. There is a possibility he would be good with cats as he ignores the ones that walk across the backyard fence. Theo is nice on leash and loves to take walks. He is also very good in the car and would love to go places with his person. Theo is a good citizen at dog parks and loves the dog beach. Theo is a great dog for someone who is active, likes a dog as an activity companion, and likes to throw the ball. He will also appreciate someone who wants to teach him a few more commands. Theo is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Bellflower, CA, and is ready to meet adopters who can come here to adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
