MILO & MAISY are back! Apparently, these two little cuties do not play well with cats and the adopters have a cat, so they were returned to find a new, feline-free home. MILO and MAISY are adorable 5-month-old Morkie siblings, born on January 21st, 2025, who were recently surrendered to us. Their original owners cared for them, but realized that raising two lively puppies was a bit more than they had bargained for. Wanting the best for the pups, they reached out to us to find them loving homes. MILO and MAISY adore each other, play constantly, and nap with each other. If one is out of sight, the other is immediately looking for them to make sure everything's okay. While they can be adopted separately, as long as there is another dog in the home for them to be friends with, we would be happy to find them a special home where they can stay together. Watching them interact is pure joy, and we know if someone adopts them as a duo they will have a house full of love and laughter. They're affectionate, full of kisses, and always ready for snuggles. They love to wrestle, chase toys, and explore their world with curiosity and excitement. MAISY is a petite 4-pound fluffball with a soft, sweet spirit and lots of playful energy. MILO weighs in at 5 pounds and has a big personality to match. He's a social butterfly and truly the life of the party. Shortly after coming to us, Milo had some issues with one of his ears and didn't want to be brushed. Unfortunately, that meant he got matted quickly and had to be shaved down, but his gorgeous coat is growing back beautifully. MILO and MAISY are still working on house training. They are making good progress, especially considering they are in a foster home with lots of other dogs. They are not leash trained just yet, but with patience and consistency, they'll learn quickly. While they don't absolutely need a fenced yard, it would be a bonus. Because of their small size, they shouldn't be left outside unattended, even in a fenced area. MILO and MAISY get along well with other small dogs and enjoy their company, but would be best in a home as the only pets. If they are not adopted together, they should go to a home with another playful little dog. They have not beenaround kids but should be fine with respectful older children who understand how to be careful with small animals. They are not good with cats. MILO and MAISY sleep in the big bed with their foster family and once the nighttime zoomies and puppy wrestling are over, they settle in beautifully for a good night's sleep. They have been to the vet for wellness checks, are up to date on shots, have been started on the heartworm prevention, and are microchipped with lifetime registrations. They will be spayed/neutered at our vet this week. If you're ready to open your heart and home to MILO, MAISY, or both, we'd love to hear from you. Get ready for endless kisses, puppy cuddles, and the best kind of chaos...Morkie-style!
