My daughter begged for a husky puppy and a coworker gifted her with a puppy. We have had her since she was about 7-8wks old. She is an indoor dog that is crate trained. We use a shock collar but the 'beep' is all she really needs to yield commands. However, in an isolated incident she bit my son (9) over some scrap meat that was placed in the trash can. Until we can rehome her we did buy a muzzle and have been training her on wearing it. She's usually a very loving dog. She's has just started getting territorial. As a mom, I don't feel comfortable having a dog that has bit to be around my small children. She would be an excellent dog to a middle aged male with no children around. She loves to sit with you on the recliner or at your feet. She knows which chair she is allowed to sit in and which ones she is not.
