Meet Pearl This beautiful pup is Pearl. And just like the beautiful pearls of the seas, Pearl is a hidden gem. She nearly lost her life at a high kill shelter, but we pulled her in the nick of time and brought her to the safety of our shelter where she is decompressing. She is so wonderful and has the best personality. Pearl is thought to be an eight - 10-year-old-boxer mix. We're not sure of her history. Some say her owner passed and the family left her to wander for months alone and afraid, others said she may have been used as a bait dog, and others say she was simply abused and neglected until she was ultimately picked up by the local animal control. All we know is that she is a gentle girl just looking for a loving home with a human companion/family, where she is cared for, has a comfy bed, surrounded by peace and quiet. Pearl is calm, sweet, friendly, loving and so gentle. She loves treats! She also loves attention and uses her pretty eyes and a slow swish of her tail to get your attention. She loves being petted and leans into you for comfort. She walks nicely on a leash and travels well in a car. Pearl likes other dogs and she is fine with cats. We can't imagine there would be any issue as she is so mellow and sweet. Pearl seems to be housetrained. She has impeccable manners and would easily transition into a home. Pearl will be the perfect companion for a less active or older family or person. She truly loves to just sit with you or go for leisurely strolls. She is fantastic. We're in love. If looking for a fur baby like Pearl to share your heart and life with, Pearl is amazing and would love to live out her golden years in a loving, forever home.
