I hear everything on the other side of the door�'�| life, laughter, footsteps�'�| but I can't be part of it. There have been fights with the other dog in the house, so we have to stay separated. It's stressful for everyone�'�| and it's so lonely for me. I cry because I don't understand. My family is heartbroken. This isn't the life they wanted for me. They are trying so hard, but they know�'�| this can't go on forever. I need a real chance. I'm 3 years old, about 55 pounds, and I have the softest brown eyes�'�| or so everyone tells me when they meet me. They always say how sweet I am, how loving, how special. But somehow�'�| I'm still here. For over a year, I've been waiting for someone to choose me. I thought I had found my forever home. My family loves me so much, and I love them right back. But the other dog in the home never accepted me, no matter how hard everyone tried. I need a home where I can finally be free, where I don't have to be alone, where I can just be someone's dog. I promise I'm worth it. I'm smart, affectionate, playful, and so loyal. I love running in the yard, long walks, car rides, and playing with my toys. I'm also the best snuggler-you'll find me curled up beside you after a fun day, just happy to be close. I'm housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, and I know my commands. I love to learn and would thrive with someone who wants an active, devoted companion. In the past, I've gotten along with other dogs but after this experience, it would be best if I could be the only pet so I could feel safe to finally relax and soak up all the love.
