Beau has a story that'll break your heart and then fill it right back up: when his 'breeder' moved away, he was left behind-literally. He darted under the stilted house in fear, and rather than wait or care, they left without him. Yep, abandoned. But even after that betrayal, Beau still chooses love. My biggest addiction is empathy, and it's very hard for me to turn my back on a dog. I've been trying to curtail rescuing, because I was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago. I actually had surgery September 4th, and was in the hospital for 2 months due to complications and infections. When a friend came to me for help to find Beau the home he needs, I just couldn't say no, as I know Im really good at matching appropriately, and it was important to me that he was carefully and properly placed.
