About Pandora

Hi, I'm Pandora! I'm 2 years old, about 60 pounds, and I've been waiting for my forever home since coming to the rescue in May of 2025. I may have spent more time waiting than I ever expected, but I haven't let that stop me from enjoying life. I'm still a sweet, friendly, happy girl who loves people and has plenty of personality. I'm housebroken, know my basic commands, and have been working on my leash manners. I also get along well with submissive and tolerant dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend who likes to play. Full disclosure, I really like to play, and playing rough is my thing! So I would do best in a home with another dog who enjoys this type of thing. There is one important thing my future family should know about me: I have a confirmed CCL tear. Last year, this was a much bigger issue for me, but I've come a long way since then. These days, I'm happy, active, and as wild as ever! Every once in a while, I may limp for a day, but overall I've been doing really well. CCL surgery is invasive, and the rescue doesn't take putting us dogs through a major procedure lightly unless it's truly necessary. Right now, I'm a young, happy girl who is getting along well without surgery. My future family just needs to understand that I may have some physical limitations and shouldn't be pushed beyond what I'm comfortable doing. Truthfully though, the amount of playfulness and roughhousing I show at the rescue indicates to this CCL isn't holding me down! I've spent enough of my life moving from place to place. What I'd really love now is a family who sees me for who I am-a fun, sweet, playful girl who is ready to finally have a home of her own.
