We got Cooper from a rescue. He was found as a stray and was extremely malnourished. He was going to be euthanized but a rescue took him in and got him back to health. We did a DNA test on him, he is mostly Coon hound. He has a lot of energy and needs a large fenced in yard. He growls at my husband and is extremely protective of me and our 2 grown children. Rescue said that he is not good with cats, we found out that he is not good with dogs either when he bit our neighbors dog. Otherwise, he is a great dog. I love him so much, but my husband cannot live with a dog growling at him all day. He will protect you and be loyal and loving.
