About Jett

Jett is an absolutely stunning cream golden retriever.�%A0 He is 79lb and is a perfect weight for his stature. He came to us from a breeding farm where he lived outside only with many other dogs.�%A0 Everything inside a house and outside a home is new to sweet Jett - on his walk cars surprise him, he met a cat and was mesmerized by it, even just being inside a home is strange.�%A0 And, through it all, Jett wags his tail and gives you a big smile.�%A0 Jett is 8, turning 9 in July, but he shows no signs of being anything other than a polite young man.�%A0 �%A0He loves going on walks and does so very nicely on a leash with no pulling.�%A0 �%A0He is nondestructive and has not touched items in the home. Jett is great in a car and just lays down.�%A0 He is a quiet boy and has only ever barked at the cat when he first met it.�%A0 Jett has lived with two male dogs in foster - a golden and a Samoyed - and he pays little attention to, and lives harmoniously with, them.�%A0 �%A0He enjoys a play toy like tug and has shown interest in a bone. There is a pool in his foster home and he just moves around it.�%A0 �%A0What Jett loves the most is the yard.�%A0 He thoroughly enjoys sniffing everywhere, exploring everything and laying in the yard soaking up the sun.�%A0 As such, we will be looking for a grassy yard in his new home.�%A0 Jett is a little nervous meeting new people, but once you pet him, he turns to putty in your hands.�%A0 �%A0He really enjoys fuss and cuddles.�%A0 We think he'd be fine with children who have learned to be respectful of animals.�%A0 �%A0Jett is crate trained and this has been helpful for keeping him safe inside a home at night and teaching him where to go potty outside; he has been used to pottying anywhere outside including the cement since that was where he lived.�%A0 �%A0He likes to do things that he thinks make you happy so he is a quick learner.�%A0 Jett can't wait to find his patient loving forever home with a yard and someone to take him on a walk!
