Hello! I'm Patrick, a calm and loving 5-8 year-old husky with a heart as warm as my cozy fur coat. I've got the perfect balance of curiosity for the outdoors and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of home life. I absolutely adore my daily walks-whether it's a stroll through the neighborhood, a hike along a forest trail, or a breezy beach walk, I'm always up for exploring the world by your side. I love to sniff, take in the scenery, and greet new friends along the way. Once we're back home, I'm all about winding down-curled up near you, soaking in the comfort of companionship and a peaceful home. With my beautiful beige coat, adorable little stubby tail (that wags non-stop when I'm happy!), and soulful ember eyes, I've been known to win hearts wherever I go. I'm easygoing, affectionate, and just want to share life's everyday moments with someone special. My journey hasn't been easy, but I never lost my gentle spirit -I was found a stray, then ended up in an overcrowded kill-shelter in Southern California, where I spent over a month stuck in a kennel getting sick, hoping for a miracle. The shelter did not treat me, even though I was their best behaving pup and they would take me out to meet other dogs to test their temperament. On the day I was scheduled to be put down, a miracle happened! My rescue mom came across my story shared on Instagram, worked with a team of compassionate humans who believed in me, and got me out of there in the nick of time. I've blossomed with loving care and am now all healed from the infections, neutered, and thriving with my foster family in the Pacific Northwest. I'm potty trained, know how to use a doggy door, and always let you know when it's time for a potty break. I am happy to be your one-and-only companion-or I can share my home with another friendly dog.
