About Niko

Sweet Niko came to us as an owner surrender when his person had to go into assisted living. Niko had lived with her since he was a puppy, and despite his whole world being turned upside down, he has been a total love with all humans and dogs alike at the sanctuary. Niko is an Aussie mix of some sort, but many of us see Golden Retriever both in his physical traits and his loving personality. He loves to lean into you with his whole body, flashing his toothy smile readily and often. He loves to be pet and cuddled and can't get enough kisses on his cute little head. Niko was clearly well loved in his previous home and is a calm, wonderful pup to have around. He gets along with all of the other dogs he's met so far. Niko still has lots of energy and loves his outside time. But he also loves to curl up in a comfy dog bed and sleep quietly next to humans. He would make the perfect addition to any family!
