Courtesy Posting: 'HOPE' CARRSVILLE, VA STUNNING YOUNG FEMALE BELGIAN MALINOIS/ GSD MIX WAS JUST RESCUED FROM BEING EUTHANIZED FOR SPACE AT A NOR CAL SHELTER. SHE IS EXTREMELY SMART, HIGH ENERGY AND NEEDS AN ACTIVE BREED SAVVY FOSTER OR ADOPTER. SHE CURRENTLY IS IN BOARDING IN CARRSVILLE, VA. This gorgeous girl was just rescued from a Nor Cal shelter and is currently looking for a breed savvy, active foster or forever home. Per the shelter notes: 'Hope, unknown age but we think 3 yrs young, Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, weighing around 60 lbs. Hope is very high energy, loves water, loves to play especially with rope toys, and enjoys being where the people are. She's incredibly smart, picks up on commands well, and very food motivated. Super confident and would make a great adventure buddy, she does get a bit nervous in the car but I believe with time and patience she will learn to relax. Hope would do best in a home that can keep up with her high energy. She does like kids but due to her energy and size I would recommend a home with dog savvy kids or older kids as she can play a bit rough. Hope gets along well with other dogs even though her manners need to be worked on. She can get over excited about other dogs. I would not recommend a home with small animals or cats as she might chase them but she may be able to with training. Hope would love to have a big yard to run around in or a pool to jump in, she needs a lot of enrichment and exercise. Hope is a beautiful intelligent dog and she would be someone's dream pet.'
