This handsome guy is the ultimate companion-affectionate, loyal, and always eager to be close. Whether it's curling up next to you on the couch, soaking up the sun in the yard, or just keeping you company (even in the bathroom), Aries is happiest when he's near his human. He walks like a dream on a harness, is house and kennel trained, and rides perfectly in the car. His beautiful markings and gentle manners always turn heads, but it's his soulful eyes and expressive face that really win people over. Aries makes the funniest faces, perks his ears at every new curiosity, and bounds after squirrels with playful energy-not a prey drive, just joy. Aries has a moderate energy level: he'll happily join you for a walk or romp in the yard, but is equally content to settle down and relax once the fun is over. He does have a bit of an alpha personality and has struggled to fully integrate with the larger foster pack, so he would thrive best as the only dog or with a calm, submissive companion. He's not shown aggression, just a strong desire to be the center of your world-and he's big enough to make sure he is. He absolutely adores children and has been wonderful with kids from age four to fifteen. He greets strangers with curiosity and warmth, and while he might bark once in a while from the car, it's nothing more than a moment of protectiveness. He's not been around cats, so that remains an unknown, but he doesn't show signs of strong prey instincts. Aries has basic obedience down and is eager to please, making him a great candidate for continued training if you're interested.
