About Dixie

Adoption Fee: $350
Australian Cattle Dog / Australian Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

This stunning gal is Dixie. She is about a year and a half old Australian Cattledog / Australian Shepherd mix who weighs 41 pounds. She was rescued, vetted, and trained by a Good Samaritan and is now ready for her own home. Dixie is smart and likes to learn, plus she is good motivated. She already knows sit, wait, and kennel to go to her crate on command. She is not only crate trained but house trained. This girl is wicked smart and will be a gem to keep training. Dixie starts shy but warms right up. She lives with two adults and two older kids and does fine. Her ideal home gives her a moment to warm up and isn't a little more of a quiet household. For her own people, in typical herder style, she is loyal and loving. Dixie is a good with other dogs and lives politely with a medium and large dog in her foster home. She does like to play and would be fine as an only dog or with another dog. Dixie is also good with dog savvy cats. Dixie has learned basic leash skills and walks nicely when passing other dogs on walks. She is also nice in the car so will make a nice travel companion. Dixie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Norco, CA. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt. She is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt in SoCal.
