Meet Eastie - A Loyal, Loving Companion Looking for Her Person Eastie is a 6-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix (listed as an American Bulldog mix for housing reasons) who's looking for a home where she can be the center of attention and truly thrive. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, and covered by pet insurance that includes both preventative and illness/injury care. About Eastie: Eastie is a quirky, affectionate girl with a big personality. Once she knows you, she's incredibly loving and loyal-always ready for a cuddle on the couch or a game of indoor chase. She loves to play with her toys, zoom around with her humans, nap like a champ, and gently pester her cat brother. She's house and crate trained (though she's been known to push her crate around for fun), and knows her commands thanks to consistent training, including e-collar reinforcement. She's best suited to a calmer home without dogs, but she's fine with dog-savvy cats and older kids (8+), especially if they understand her space and sensitivity. Health & Care Needs: Eastie has some manageable health needs including allergies and digestive/skin sensitivities. She takes Apoquel daily, eats wet food, and does best with a probiotic immune treat. Weekly baths help keep her comfortable, so someone comfortable keeping up with that routine is ideal. What She Needs: Eastie is looking for a calm, structured home with people who are around more often than not and can give her the love and attention she craves. She doesn't need a fenced yard, but she does need daily walks and playtime. A home without other dogs is a must, and she'd do best with older children who can respect her space. Why She's Being Rehomed: Eastie has been a beloved part of our family since 2020, but since bringing home a new baby, it's become clear she's struggling with the changes. She's become more anxious. We've had to crate her more often, and it's simply not fair to her. She deserves a calm, consistent environment where she can be her happiest, most relaxed self. Eastie has so much love to give and just needs the right home to share it. If you think you might be her person, please reach out-I'd love to tell you more about her.
