Ot%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BDk Spitz-type mix, estimated 6-8 years old Ot%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BDk comes from a horrific hoarding case where over 90 small-breed dogs lived inside one house in dreadful conditions. In 2021, we rescued 8 dogs from the same situation - all were extremely fearful, neglected, and had no idea how to live in a normal world. Ot%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BDk was in a similar state when he ended up in another shelter, but sadly didn't make much progress there. So we took him in along with two of his companions, hoping to give them a real shot at adoption. These three little musketeers have been with us for just over a month and are making fantastic progress. They've learned to walk on a leash, enjoy treats, accept petting, and even seek it out. They are not aggressive during handling. Ot%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BDk is house-trained, a true foodie, and a cuddly boy when he's relaxed. However, he reacts to unfamiliar dogs on walks and enjoys chasing cats, so a feline-free home is best. Ot%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BDk is currently being treated for dry eye syndrome, and daily eye care will likely be necessary for the rest of his life. Despite his improvement, Ot%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BDk will probably never be a fully 'normal' dog - he might still panic and flee when frightened. In the beginning, he'll need to wear a trailing leash indoors, as he may not allow close contact easily. He is best suited for indoor living. While he can enjoy a yard with his humans, it must be supervised and very securely fenced. He needs a home with another stable dog, as he has never lived without a canine companion. Ot%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BDk will be adopted vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and treated for parasites.
