About Sebastien

Breed: Slovak Cuvac Age: 3 years Sebastien was first spotted near the village of Ch��%BD%BDnice on June 5, 2024, but couldn't be caught at the time-he was very scared and reacted aggressively when people tried to approach him. We were finally able to catch him two days later using a tranquilizer dart. Since no previous owner has come forward-which, honestly, doesn't surprise us, as all signs suggest he was deliberately abandoned not far from our shelter-Seb��%BD��%BDk is now looking for a new home! At first, Bastien was very distrustful and quick to snap, but after two weeks, he's become a friendly dog with the people he trusts. He enjoys a good scratch in his kennel and is very interested in both lady dogs and exploring when outside. Sebastien is a typical representative of his breed: cautious with strangers, but kind and loyal to his family. He doesn't like children much and needs time to get used to new people. If you're interested in adopting our snow-white beauty, please plan for at least 5 visits to our shelter and a pre-adoption home check. We want to be sure everything will go smoothly and Sebastien will live a fairy tale life. He's best suited for a house with a garden, but he should also have the chance to spend time indoors with his people. He's not a fan of children, so we are looking for a home without kids. He gets along with female dogs (though feeding should be done separately), but we don't recommend him with male dogs. He ignores other animals, so cohabitation with a cat might be possible. He is clean, a good watchdog, and appreciates affection. He allows handling from people he trusts, but will need a muzzle for vet visits. Sebastien will be adopted vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and neutered.
