He was one of ten rabbits rescued from a Fullerton school yard in Orange County. Sometime in 2024 someone released two bunnies in the school vegetable garden and of course you know what happens when unfixed rabbits are left to their own devices--babies! It's super easy to scoop him up, snuggle him under your chin and kiss his nose/head at the same time! He really likes it! He will definitely chatter those chompers when you do so! His dark fur actually has a salt and pepper look to it which is hard to capture in pictures! He loves afternoon naps under his wooden tunnel. However, it is simple to awaken him by providing pellets! He has good litter box habits already, submits his head for tender touches and is loving the safe, indoor life, post-rescue. What a guy! He was rescued on April 20, 2025. He was neutered on April 28, 2025.. His estimated date of birth is January 2025. He currently weighs 2.51 pounds. Gibson should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Checkers can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.%BD%A0 PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
