Found as a stray and estimated to be only 1 and weighing only 45 lbs, this boy is absolutely adorable. However, the shelter just let us know, he 'is at high-risk potential for being considered an at-risk target soon and in need of help.' While Smokey does well and can seen having fun and running around fine in playgroup with male and female dogs a seen in this video (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/FMiQqdmM6rw ), in his kennel, he ' has been frequently observed pacing/spinning in kennel for extended periods of time. A739649 arrived shy/nervous but acclimated quickly with staff/volunteers and has frequently participated in playgroup.' We have asked the shelter to provide anti anxiety medicine as he has not been given anything yet per his medical notes. However, he was just neutered and would be ready to go home. Smokey is available for rescue or adoption. Adopters should contact the shelter directly at (562) 570-3080 and ask for Smokey by his ID.
