About Kovu

Meet Kovu! Kovu is a beautiful German Shepherd Dog. This guy is a goofball at heart. He loves playing fetch, running around, lounging around and chewing on his antlers, and being loved. Kovu enjoys roadtrips and sticking his head out of the window. He's travelled long distances and has always done great! He isn't a big barker, but when he does it's always for good reason! Kovu is a dog that can be very obedient and calm with the right individual, but will definitely take lead if you allow. He knows SIT, Down, Stay, Wait, Go To Bed, Come, and has incredible recall. He is e collar trained for off leash obedience and walks lovely on a leash. Kovu needs to be adopted by an experienced individual, as he can be a bit much for many people. He has a lot of energy, but is calm inside. However, if he can't release this energy, you may see he will get really excited inside. Kovu loves playing a game called 'GO Find It', in which you hide a treat and have him look for it with his nose. He's so good at it! He does NOT enjoy the company of other dogs and can be aggressive. Due to this, he is not trusted around young children either. We will be very selective about who takes Kovu, as he is needing a very specific lifestyle.
