About Huckle

Huckle is a 2-year-old, 8-pound Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix with a gentle heart and a cautious spirit. He came into rescue after his owner passed away, along with 15 other dogs, and is still adjusting to all the changes in his world. Initially skittish with new people and experiences, Huckle is making incredible progress in his foster home. Every day, he is gaining confidence, exploring more, and learning to trust. He has a sweet nature and, with patience, blossoms into a loving companion. He is working on potty training, learning both outdoor potty breaks and using potty pads. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having a calm, reassuring presence in his life. Huckle will thrive in a home with an understanding adopter who will give him the space and patience he needs to fully come out of his shell.
