About ASTRID

Astrid is an adult cat that was happy and loved in a home until recently, when her person passed away. As you can imagine, when she first came back to the shelter Astrid was very confused, depressed, and angry. It took her several weeks to decompress before she started trusting volunteers and now we're starting to understand her better. Astrid needs a new person with a calm home who will be very patient with her as she learns to adjust to a new routine. Please consider giving her a chance to be happy again! She has not been in a home with other cats, dogs, or children. NOTE: We were told as far as first interactions with people, Astrid often has an easier time with men than women.
