'Bonita lives up to her name with her soft Chihuahua fur and adorable Terrier hairs mixed in. She's a little girl at 7 lbs but she can hang with the big dogs (as long as they aren't too pushy). Bonita is the perfect snuggle buddy and/or coworker - she will lay in your lap for hours. As long as you're not busy working, she will flip on her back in your lap and kindly request some belly rubs before going off to sleep. Bonita may be 13 but she refuses to act her age. She prances around like a young adult and she can jump over 2 ft. She also enjoys a nice walk and she can even jog if that's your style. She is great with other dogs and seems to do well with dog-savvy children. Bonita can be a little timid with new people at first but she warms up pretty quickly, and once she does, she's hooked. Around the house, she likes to play a fun game called 'Where's Bonita?' (Spoiler: she's standing silently right behind you like your tiny, adorable shadow.) She is vocal about being left home alone, so she is not a match for a home with shared walls. Bonita is also in great health - her bloodwork was fantastic, she recently had a dental, and she had a few benign mammary tumors removed. She does have an eye condition called Pannus, which requires eye drops, which she is learning how to take. She is also learning how to use the most adorable little doggy goggles when out in the sun. If you're looking for a silly, snuggle, and loyal sidekick, Bonita is the girl for you!'
