I'm looking for a quiet, low traffic home with one or two adults. If you want us to be friends, give me a little time and patience. Meeting you a few times prior to adoption helps as well. The best way to convince me I should give you attention at first is to ignore me. Once I decide you can be trusted, I do so completely and will be your shadow. Go to the bathroom alone? You will do that no more. Try to cook or eat? Not without help. Get a delivery? Box must be investigated. If I can't see what you are doing, I turn into some creature the human calls a kangaroo and hop around on 2 legs for a better view. I need a fenced yard. I don't like leashes and think most harnesses are merely a test to see how quickly I can escape them. I also do not care much for car rides, so if you want to stay home most of the time, I'm your girl. I do well with other small dogs, and a doggie friend my size will be helpful to give me confidence in a new home. I happily go in my crate for treats or mealtimes, and while I will sleep in it, I much prefer to sleep with my person. I'm also house trained on a schedule, though with any dog, I may have accidents somewhere new until I understand the routine.
