About Walker

Walker, the Treeing Walker Coonhound is very true to his breed. This handsome man always has his nose to the ground checking things out. Oftentimes he'll point towards things and start baying. He WILL follow his nose if you let him and he loves a good chase. Walker needs a fairly active family that can get him physical exercise through the weeks. A home where he can do what he was bred to do would be even better! He's very sweet, food motivated. Knows how to sit and takes treats nicely. No aggression issues. He is partly house trained but needs to get on a schedule and go out often at first. Rides well in the car. He's wonderful with people but prefers to live as a solo pet
