About Norman

This handsome blue guy is Norman. He is an Australian Cattle Dog mix who was born in September, 2024. He will be within breed standard when he is done growing. Norman already knows his basics: Sit, Crate (on command), Down. He is house trained and her new home will just need to reinforce. He has springs for legs, and can jump quite high. He would be amazing for parkour or other dog sports. Norman has been great with everyone he has met. He likes to meet new people and has made friends at the barn. He can be a hint mouthy when things are exciting, like a typical Cattle Dog pup, so he isn't a fit for small kids. Norman is nice with other dogs of all sizes. He does like to play a bit with his dog pals. He can be bossy with other dogs at meal times, and is learning that it's not nice to be rude. He has met the horses at the barn and isn't quite sure what to make of them. Norman is good with herder-savvy cats. If they will run, he likes to gently boop them with his nose. Norman is learning about the leash and doesn't pull much. A patient approach with his training will really help to refine his skills. Norman has also started learning that car rides are fun, and he does settle down after the ride starts. Norman likes to chase a tennis ball, but doesn't always bring it back. He does, however, love to pluck the fuzz off of tennis balls. Norman is very affectionate and loves to be with his people. He likes to cuddle, too. He is a best pal kind of pup. Norman is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in southern CA, and is ready to meet adopters who can come here to adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
