About Portobello

Portobello has stolen our hearts and filled our home with love. When he first came to us, he was shy and unsure, hesitant to explore the world around him. But with patience and care, he's blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate companion. He's still a little cautious with new people at first, but once he warms up, he's all cuddles and tail wags. He's incredibly smart and eager to please-he picks up commands quickly and rarely ever barks. You'd never guess that this brave boy was once found with a fractured shoulder and leg. He's fully healed now, and his resilient spirit shines through every day. He's convinced he's a lap dog and loves snuggling up close. Portobello also gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats-he's just looking for someone to love him as much as he loves back.' PORTOBELLO arrived at the shelter as a stray over 7 MONTHS AGO! This 2-year-old, handsome boy has been social with all staff and volunteers at the shelter and with dogs during playgroup as well!
