About Kobe

Meet Kobe, our 5-year-old (35 lbs) goldendoodle, Kobe. Kobe has been with our family since he was 8 weeks old. He is the second dog in our family, as we have a 9-year-old rescue. The two dogs get along great. He is wonderful with our immediate family, my husband, 2 year-old daughter and live-in nanny. He follows us around, cuddles and sleeps next to us. We are thinking about expanding our family further, and it makes me anxious given some of the challenges we have had with Kobe. Kobe started off as a great puppy, but he began to show signs of aggression after he was neutered at 6-7 months old. This initially presented itself in the form of leash aggression with other dogs, and he would nip people in scenarios where he felt cornered.
