This beautiful girl is blind, but don't let that fool you-she navigates life with grace, confidence, and a tail that never stops wagging. At around 1 �%BD years old and weighing 48lbs, Poochie has already captured the hearts of everyone at the rescue with her gentle soul and courageous heart. She loves cuddles, soft voices, and belly rubs, and she quickly bonds with kind humans who give her time and patience. She might bump into a few things at first, but give her a consistent layout and a little love, and she'll map your heart (and your home) in no time. One of Poochie's absolute favorite things in the world? Running in the yard! She comes alive with joy when she can safely zoom around and stretch her legs. Because of this, a securely fenced yard is a must-not only for her safety, but to give her the freedom she loves and deserves. Poochie is great with calm, friendly dogs and cats, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. Her pet companions should be patient with her occasional accidental bumps and understand that she can't see visual dog cues. She would thrive in a peaceful, understanding home with people who embrace her special needs and celebrate her playful, expressive personality. She is house-trained, crate trained, spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished for the incredible pup she is.
