Sweetheart's Journey: From Survivor to Forever Love Sweetheart-affectionately called Sweetie-has been through so much, and she's come out the other side with nothing but love to give. She arrived at MCCAC West unsure and under the weather, carrying more than just a doggie cold-she was also carrying new life. In the midst of all the chaos, Sweetie gave birth to a beautiful litter of puppies and became the most gentle, attentive, and loving mama you could imagine. Over the past few months, she's focused on healing. She raised her babies, gained back her strength, and has blossomed into the vibrant, joyful soul she was always meant to be. Sweetie is a Pointer-Pit mix with a playful heart and a deep need for connection. She doesn't just want to be near people-she thrives in love. Her eyes light up with every kind word, every gentle pet, every moment of kindness. She's house-trained, and when she can't be supervised, she does well in her kennel. She's shown incredible patience and tenderness with our three little ones (all under five!) and lives peacefully with two adult dogs and some of her pups. Sweetie doesn't just coexist-she fits in, with grace. She's a survivor, a nurturer, and now, she's ready to be someone's dog. To be cherished like she's never been before.
