At just over 4 years old, Dodger is learning to work through his reactivity around strangers, and with time and patience, he's blossoming into a loyal, affectionate companion. Dodger absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive with a furry friend in his home. He enjoys sunbathing, so a fenced backyard would be his happy place, where he can lounge in the sun and relax. He's both crate trained, and house trained, and nothing makes him happier than going for a walk or exploring the great outdoors with his humans. With a bit of patience and a steady routine, Dodger will reward you with endless affection and loyalty. He's looking for a home where he can continue to grow in confidence, with a doggy friend to help him feel secure and a family ready to embrace his sweet, playful nature. As part of Dodger's $300 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
