Pls meet adorable little Mushu..but pls dont only go by his adorable precious little face, as adorable as it is. Mushu is in search of a wonderful home, but not just any home.Mushu needs the 'right ' home, so pls read all about Mushu& his imperfections to make sure u r the right candidate . HE IS A HEALTHY 11 POUND 8 YR OLD MALTESE THAT HAS BEEN W/ HIS OWNERS SINCE HE IS A PUPPY. WHY ARE THEY WANTING TO GIVE HIM UP 8 YEARS LATER? I DO ASK MYSELF THE SAME QUESTION, ALTHOIGH THERE ARE SOME IMPERFECTIONS U MUST KNOW ABOUT LITTLE MUSHU, I BELIEVE HE WILL SHINE W/THE RIGHT ADOPTER. WHO IS THE RIGHT ADOPTER? 1ST OF ALL, HE IS NOT TOO FOND OF CHILDREN, SO YOUR HOUSEHOLD WILL NOT HAVE CHILDREN LIVING THERE OR EVEN VISITING CHILDREN. HE CAN ALSO BE YAPPY AT TIMES, SO A CONDO WOULDNT BE SUITABLE, AS U WOULD WIND UP W/ NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS. HE ISNT PERFECT W/ONLY DOUNG HIS BUSINESS OUTSIDE, BUT YET HIS CURRENT FAMILY LEADS A BUSY LIFE, SO PERHAPS SOMEONE RETIRED OR WORKING FROM HOME WIULD BE BEST FOR LITTLE MUSHU..His current family just thinks that maybe he needs more than what they are providing him& that perhaps he would be best with someone who can dedicate more time to him. I've been doing rescue for 35+years, so they turned to me to ask for help to try to find the best loving 4ever home for him for the rest of his life. They're going to hold him until I find him the right home,&I WILL find him what he truly needs. He is so adorable. He can be very loving &playful, but he can also try to boss you, so he needs somebody who can show him very lovingly who is boss. He is very food motivated so training him or getting him to do what u want will be easier because he can be rewarded w/ food very easily. He likes to be next to u &really just wants attention. He seems to not really get along well w/other dogs (perhaps he suffers from the Napoleon complex), so he would thrive as the only dog, but he does great w/cats (he currently lives w/ one &there are no issues). My biggest addiction is empathy, &it's very hard for me to turn my back on a dog. I've been trying to curtail rescuing, because I was diagnosed w/cancer 4 yrs ago. I actually had surgery Sept 4th,& was in the hospital for 2 mths due to complications& infections. When they came to me for help to find little Mushu the home that he needs, I just couldn't say no, as I know Im really good at matching appropriately, and w/Mushu's imperfextions, it was important to me that he was carefully and properly placed. My goal is to make sure that he finds a final 4ever loving home. It would be great if Mushu found a home where he could play in the backyard. Pls privacy fences only...no chainlink fences. My goal is to make sure I get Mushu the home that he needs &deserves w/someone who will love him &give him all the care &attention &affection that he deserves for the rest of his life &be able to be committed to him physically, mentally, emotionally &financially. The best thing I could possibly do for him is to find him a 4ever loving home where he will be happy ..'Till death do you part'. I have made the commitment to Mushu& to his current owners to make sure I find him the opportunity to find the right home he needs&deserves. My promise to him now is to make sure I find him the best 4ever home w/one who will love him for the remaining yrs he has ahead (and if he is kept healthy, he could have several more...as small doggies can go 15 yrs if not more) .an individual or couple who will continue to let us know how wonderfully he is doing. Mushu will be your best friend. Will you be his?? I am looking to find the perfect person/couple who will give him as much as he deserves. HE IS THE FRIEND YOU ARE LOOKING FOR & WILL LOVE U 4EVER.....WILL U LOVE HIM? He is neutered µchipped (&MICROCHIP WILL REMAIN IN MY NAME INDEFINITELY.CAN EXPLAIN WHEN WE SPEAK), heartworm negative& on heartworm& flea/tick prevention& if u adopt him u MUST keep him on both& up to date w/ yrly check ups&vaccines.
