About Barkley

Hellooooo new friends!!! Nice to meet you!! My name is Barkley and in British and Scottish culture Barkley translates to Birch trees which symbolize new beginnings, good fortune, and hope and that is exactly why I'm here�'�|a new beginning�'�| my family was moving overseas and couldn't take me. My good fortune led me to the great ladies at FCCR who said of course they would help me!! As you can see already I am ADORABLE!! �����%8F I am a 2 year old, 12 lb Morkie (a Maltese Yorkie mix) boy. I love to play and go on walks (and I'm a great leash walker) but I most LOVE to snuggle next to my humans while they watch TV. I would even sit with them all night if they were binge watching Animal Planet!!! I'm also a great host when other humans visit the house�'�|i greet them and we become fast friends. I get along with other dogs and enjoy playing with them and with toys. I haven't met any cats yet. I think I would do ok with little humans.
