About Brook

(DOB 01/13/2024) Brook will be a local adoption; 1 hour radius of Wake Forest, NC until she is spayed. Brook is a friendly, flexible, and loving dog who would be a fantastic addition to any family, and could be a good option for a first-time dog owners. She has a gentle and easy-going nature, making her a joy to live with. Brook loves spending time with her people, always ready to snuggle, play, or just relax by your side. This sweet girl loves doggie daycare, where she enjoys making new friends and staying active. She also enjoys car rides, making her the perfect travel buddy! Plus, Brook doesn't really know what the word stranger means and is friendly and sweet with a tad bit of shyness. Brook doesn't require a fenced-in yard, so she's happy to adapt to apartment or home living, as long as she gets regular walks and some playtime. She has already demonstrated she pretty good on a leash and so her daily walks are something to look forward to. Brook is great with other dogs and is with kids, too making her a well-rounded family dog. She could be an only dog that is spoiled endlessly or with added to a family with other loveable pups. Although she hasn't met cats yet, she may have the 'it's ok you live here, too' with a dog savvy feline friend with some time and guidance. She's food motivated which is nice because that always makes any training needs easier to accomplish as she'll be more receptive to instruction. She sleeps on a cot with some toys and does well overnight in her kennel. This sweet girl is going to make someone very happy because she is just a little gem!
