Baylor is a purebred Husky who is 7 years old. He floats around 50 pounds, has one brown eye and one blue eye, and is all white. The first thing you have to know about Baylor is that he is very sweet. He is submissive to most dogs and corrects behaviors if necessary. He is trained to go off-leash on hikes or parks. Ideally, Baylor would go to a home that would be able to adapt to his high energy needs (He LOVES running, hiking, beaches, the snow, and dog parks), train/work with him and his severe separation anxiety disorder and generally live as his companion. Baylor is an absolutely perfect dog when he knows that others are around within the household with him. His favorite activity is generally to lay and sleep around his owners. His anxiety spikes when you leave him alone or begin to get ready to leave him alone. He currently takes 3 medications for his anxiety. In an ideal world, an owner will pair him with another Husky who can correct his anxious behaviors on top of an owner who can train these anxieties out of him. On top of this, we are looking for an owner who is financially prepared for Baylor and his medication needs. Generally, we order these items threw Chewy and his vet and it costs about $60 per month. We are currently located in Los Angeles, CA. Baylor's ideal situation may not be in California, so we are willing to re-locate him anywhere from CA to the Midwest. Baylor is the sweetest boy and has had nothing but rave reviews from when he stays at Rovers. These are individuals who care for our dog when we are gone, so they can provide an independent review of Baylor and his behaviors so that you have a full transparent overview if you request this information. Please reach out with questions as I want to be as transparent as possible to find the best home for Baylor.
