Mia is a happy, sweet, affectionate, and playful, two-year-old, 20-pound, female fawn Pug looking for a loving guardian. Mia loves people of all ages including children and gets along well with other dogs. She rides well in the car (although she does want to sit in your lap) and does beautifully on leashed walks with an occasional bark at another dog or person. She is housebroken when taken out regularly, and crate-trained. In fact, if you give her a treat, she'll run into her crate to enjoy it. Mia lost her home when the children in the family didn't take on their responsibilities to walk her. So, the parents punished the kids, by giving their dog to rescue. Mia is healthy, dewormed, spayed, up-to-date on rabies, distemper and Bordetella vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. Her adoption fee of $500 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. She comes complete with absolutely everything you need to care for her. She came into rescue covered in paint, and has been professionally groomed and has a soft magnificent coat. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Mia, please fill in an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up by contacting [email protected] to make an appointment to meet her. Mia is currently being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
