About Ozzie ADOPTION PENDING

ADOPTION PENDING!!!! Back up adoption applications only. Young 6 month old Ozzie looked sheepishly at the man with the pole while he trembled. Ozzie's heartrate went up and his eyes widened with fear. He was put into a small locked cabinet in a truck unsure of why his freedom was suddenly taken away. After all, he was running free and had no rules.....until now. He arrived at a loud place with lots of barking dogs and a putrid odor in the air. People in white coats handled him pressing here and there on his body putting very sharp objects in him calling them vaccines. He was then put into a hard cement cage where people walked by telling him how cute he was but he still did not understand how he got here. What was this place???? He heard the word 'shelter' but didn't feel warm or cozy. Days went by and he was sleeping on concrete and walking in his own pee and poop. He knew he didn't do anything bad enough to deserve this. After all he is just a baby!!! So Ozzie came to us and is now warm and comfy in what he learned is his foster home. It is filled with nice people, soft beds and yummy food. He even has playmates that like to run and play as much as he does. He has learned that he ' goes' outside and no longer has to stand in filth. He cherishes his daily walks with lots of other dogs and has learned to walk nicely on a leash. He plays with an older dog that looks a lot like him and likes to tease her into barking at him. He's found joy in rolling on his back and falling asleep with his mouth wide open fully trusting everyone in his new foster home. Ozzie is a playful, energetic, 'naturally naughty' typical Weimaraner puppy. He's adjusted well and is fostered in the Palm Springs area. He'd love to find a family to grow old with and have other dogs and a few kids to play with. He's scheduled to'| ahem'| be neutered on March 4 and will be immediately available. We are attempting to contact adopters on our puppy list but will accept applications to find him the very best family. Note from his foster: He is adorable. He is great with other dogs, he is pretty much house trained, learning more commands everyday...he is smart, trainable, loveable, adorable and needs a family to love him up. He is not aggressive and quite mellow for a dog of his age. We have photos and videos to prove his silly personality. Hit us up!
