About Rooster

Rooster was surrendered to our rescue because he was in a home with two small children. He came from a breeder in Oklahoma. His owners realized that their situation was not the best for Rooster. He is currently on a ranch and is an amazing livestock dog, which is what he is! Rooster is excellent protecting cats, chickens, horses, and any other animal. He is great with other dogs unless the try and steal his bone/toy/etc and he will chase them away. Because of this we don't want him to go anywhere with small children that would invade his space.
