About Donovan

Darling Donovan is now just a little over 5mo old and he's ready for his own, forever home. He is only 22lbs and should be about 30lbs when he's full grown. According to dna, he is a heeler, boxer mixed with a few other breeds. .Donovan is a little shy when first meeting, but he opens up quickly to be one an affectionate, social boy. He has such a gentle temperament, he would be a great addition to a home with school age children. He loves to spend his day playing with his siblings and other foster dogs, and because he's a shy boy, another dog in the home would be best. He is wonderful with the kitties, too. Donovan still needs leash and basic training but he is very smart and learns quickly, especially when treats are involved! He also needs a little more help before he is fully house trained. He must have a securely fenced yard and because of his young age, he should not be left alone for more than 4hr intervals.
