Willow is a very smart, sweet and loving dog and would make a great constant companion. She loves to sit next to you and be petted. She also loves to play fetch. She will drop the fetched ball or frisbee for treats and sits on command. Because she is high energy, we ask her to sit before petting her, before putting her food bowl down and before throwing her fetch toys. She is probably best kennelled or crated when left alone as she gets anxious and will chew up things. She shares our large fenced backyard and insulated playhouse with our much older and smaller neutered male dog. We also have cats and chickens in the yard that she gets along with. We adopted her as a puppy, however, she grew much larger(about 50 pounds) than expected and is too active and rough for our other dog. She has no medical issues, but is allergic to Keflex antibiotic. She got quite ill when given keflex for an open wound she had on her elbow when we adopted her. Thank you for considering Willow for adoption. She really is a great dog and we would very much like to see her go to a loving home.
