About Nova

INTELLIGENT. SWEET. PLAYFUL. Nova was found as a stray by one of our volunteers and no owner stepped forward. Seeing that sweet, wrinkly face, how could we say no? Since being in our care, she has thrived with love, proper nutrition and even professional training. Nova needs to be your one and only queen of the castle (as she deserves!), as she is a bit more of an independent spirit. Our volunteers and staff love her; they describe her as a sweet, playful and smart. She loves going for walks, taking car rides and running after tennis balls and frisbees. As a professionally-trained dog, Nova has excellent leash and door manners, mastered crate- and potty-training and knows basic commands. Her independent nature makes her a perfect pup for someone who may not be home as often, as she does well hanging out quietly at home.
