About Max

Was my 90 yr old dad's pet for 3 yrs. When dad passed, Max went to a family member with 2 very rambunctious boys. They have had him about 7 months with no issues. The boys love him. Last week Max bit one of the boys so they need to rehome him very soon. He is scared of men, not aggressive but does well with women. He was a breed dog before we got him, was with a family but we think was kept in a kennel. Max is a very sweet dog, very quiet but protective. Not sure why he bit his little owner, but haven't had any issues since we have had we had him until last week. He lived on 3 acres in the mountains for years with my dad and loved it. He is a great companion, a little stubborn. Enjoys taking walks, his treats, doesn't mind a bath and being groomed. I believe he likes to be in a quieter environment.
