About Pippa

Pippa was born July 24 2023 she is a Schnauzer-Poodle mix with a heart as big as her sweet, soulful eyes. She might be a little nervous at first, but once she warms up, she's your shadow-always by your side, ready to offer cuddles, love, and loyalty. Pippa is spayed, crate-trained, leash-trained, and great with other dogs and cats. She's even comfortable around most farm animals, though chickens are not her cup of tea! A home without birds would be best. Her favorite activities? Snuggling (she's the ultimate cuddle bug and will happily snooze beside you in any position), playing with squeaky toys, solving treat puzzles, and enjoying trips to the lake. She's smart, curious, and loves learning new things. Pippa would thrive in a calm, predictable environment, preferably with older children who understand her need for personal space and gentle handling. She's been around younger children before and has shown that she prefers a quieter home where she can be the center of attention. And speaking of attention-Pippa is a bit of a diva when it comes to getting yours! She'll gently nudge you with her paw if she feels you're distracted, just to remind you that she's there and ready for love. She'll need a bit of guidance with counter surfing (she's a clever girl who sees stools as stepping stones), but with a little training, she's sure to be the perfect companion. Rehoming Pippa will be very difficult for us-we were the ones to deliver her into the world, and we've had time to grow deeply attached to her. We wish we could keep her, but we already have pets with more special needs. Because we care so much about her future, we want to make sure she goes to a home with a fenced-in yard and owners who have the time to give her the attention and love she deserves.
