Rescue me is not allowing me to upload photos and I have very limited time, so this is a general post. I am trying to help rehome several at risk dogs AND puppies. You can find their posts on home-home.org or email us for photos and info. There are 3 adult dogs, one of which was found as a stray and is pregnant, 2 older puppies and several newly born puppies. The owners of them are in bad health, one just passed on so these dogs and puppies are looking for an immediate new home. If they are not homed soon, they will definitely be euthanized because the owner cannot care for them. Before both of the owners' health got this bad, they tried for 4+ years to rehome these animals, even with rescues and nobody wanted them because they are put bull mixes and not for children, families or the faint of heart. They are highly dog reactive, so no other dogs. They are extremely aggressive towards cats, so no homes with cats either. They are extremely rambunctious and energetic, INDOOR dogs that MUST have a fenced yard because they are not leash trained. They need a quiet environment and lots of attention. They play rough, can be destructive if left alone because they have separation anxiety, and they will jump up on you, which is a bad habit but they are not mean when they do it. They are not suitable for children, they need someone very experienced with this breed. They do not need to be adopted together, the only ones that are bonded that MUST go together are the 2 older puppies. As per rescue me's terms, you must have them spayed/neutered after adoption, rescue animals are not permitted to breed, and I wouldn't recommend breeding aggressive level animals anyway. One of these dogs is NOT put bull anything, she's an indoor dog as well but she's much gentler, just needs lots of attention and time as she has her own bad habits as well, but she's not aggressive at all. If interested, email the provided address and a volunteer will get back to you. You MUST provide identification, references (such as a vet), proof of income, and be able to fill out a questionnaire and adoption agreement. Meetings will be held in public unless we can get the foster homes to agree to allow you to meet them on their property. You must fill out all of the above forms even if you don't adopt. You must be approved as an adopter before meeting any of them. At least two volunteers will meet you wherever the meet and greet of the dog takes place - but the dog will most likely not be allowed out of the vehicle because they are NOT leashed trained, so going for walks will not be allowed due to that. Meeting at the foster homes would be better, as they have a fenced yard but again, it depends on what they agree to.
