Hi, I'm Pete! Age: Approx. 5 years Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 61 lbs Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Favorites: Doing zoomies in the play yard, treats Energy level: Moderate Training: Appears potty trained Other important info about me: I'm a big ol' baby and love making new friends with anyone and everyone! I was originally adopted from the Baytown Animal Shelter, but I was found running loose in Mont Belvieu and my owner never came to get me. I deserve a family that will keep me and take care of me forever! Unfortunately I came to the shelter with what appears to be an old injury from being hit by a car, so I need to have one of my legs amputated. It's amazing how well I get around with a broken leg, but it is causing me some pain and complications, so it's got to go! I am scheduled with the vet to have my surgery soon, and I can still be adopted as long as my adopters bring me to my appointment (adopters are not responsible for any surgery costs). Once my leg is removed, I will be able to live a long, happy life with 3 legs! I appear to get along well with people of all ages and other dogs, but I haven't been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email [email protected], or call us at 281-214-9045!
