About Ken

Meet Ken - the handsome, light-brindle gentleman with the heart of a puppy and the charm of an old soul. Ken is a 1.5-year-old pit bull mix weighing about 70 pounds, and he truly stands out with his beautiful light brindle coat and dignified, expressive face. He may look like a distinguished gentleman, but don't let that fool you - he's still full of youthful joy and playfulness. Ken is currently working on his manners and not jumping up, and he's learning fast. He wants to please, listens well, and is eager to become the best version of himself. With consistency and love, he's going to be a wonderfully well-mannered companion. Ken arrived at the same time as Vamos (V-A-M-O-S), another smaller pittie mix available on this site. They instantly bonded at the shelter and are now being fostered together, becoming great playmates and buddies. They love to run, wrestle, and hang out side-by-side. It is not required that they be adopted together - Ken will thrive in a home on his own - but it would be truly special if they could find a family willing to adopt both and let them continue their friendship. If someone did want to welcome both boys, there would be one adoption fee for the pair. Ken is affectionate, smart, playful, and full of love to give. He's ready for a family who will enjoy his silly side, appreciate his handsome looks, and help him continue learning good manners.
