Meet Ken & Vamos - A Bond That Cannot Be Broken Some dogs form friendships�'�| but Ken and Vamos formed a family. After surviving the shelter together and narrowly escaping euthanasia, these two boys promised each other they would never be alone again. These two best friends met at the shelter and quickly became inseparable. From that moment on, they have relied on each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship. Vamos is a 2-year-old sweetheart weighing about 50 pounds. He is gentle, loving, and incredibly devoted to Ken. Vamos truly looks up to Ken like a big brother, always wanting to be by his side and following his lead. Ken is a handsome 70-pound brindle boy who helps Vamos feel safe and confident. Together they balance each other perfectly and make an amazing pair. They spend their days playing together in the yard, splashing around in the pool, and going for car rides. Wherever one goes, the other is never far behind. We recently tried placing Vamos in a home without Ken, and it quickly became clear just how deep their bond is. Without his best friend, Vamos became devastated. He stopped eating and completely shut down. The moment he was reunited with Ken, his happy spirit returned. Because of this, Ken and Vamos must be adopted together. They truly thrive side by side, and we want to make sure they never have to face life without each other again. To help make that possible, there is only one adoption fee for both boys.
