About Katniss

Katniss is a 60lb German Shepherd with a sweet soul and a heart full of love. She's friendly with both people and other dogs, and enjoys playing with big, friendly pups. She can also do well with dog-savvy cats. This beautiful girl is still learning the basics like leash walking, but she's eager to learn and very treat-motivated (she takes treats gently, too!). With a patient, experienced owner, Katniss will continue to grow in confidence and thrive. Katniss is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She loves toys - rope toys and long stuffed toys are her favorite - and when playtime is over, she's all about affection. She'll happily rest her head in your lap, soak up butt scratches, and curl up in a cozy bolstered dog bed. With her curious nose and those big, soulful brown eyes, Katniss will steal your heart in no time. She just needs someone dedicated to helping her reach her full potential. Could that be you?
