About Dunn

DUNN is a 6 year old, 8.2 pound Yorkie who was found as a stray. He is the cutest, sweetest boy! DUNN is a happy little dog. He's all about people and loves attention. He's well adjusted and settled right in to his foster home like he lived there forever. Dunn has been fine with other dogs and ignores cats. We have not had him around kids but think he would be okay with older kids. He would probably enjoy having a home with another small dog, but he would be okay as an only as long as he didn't spend too much time alone. He's a busy little guy who wants to play fetch with squeaky toys all day long and then lie in your lap. He would be great with a more active family. Dunn is great on a leash but we would prefer that he has a fenced yard. He is working on his potty training and does mark but he's also getting neutered this week and that might help. As with most dogs, a solid routine and positive reinforcement is the key! At night Dunn will sleeps in the big bed or on the sofa, but he prefers to be close to his person. He has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. He needs a dental which will be scheduled at our vet and is covered by the rescue. Since he has a pending vet appointment he is local adoption only until the dental has been completed. MORE about DUNN: He's not a fan of bigger bouncy dogs, but is fine with calm larger ones. He has a good appetite and eats well.
