About Dunn

DUNN is a 6 year old, 8.2 pound Yorkie who was found as a stray. He is the cutest, sweetest boy! DUNN is a happy little dog. He's all about people and loves attention. He's well adjusted and settled right in to his foster home like he lived there forever. He loves to be held and to curl up for a nap in a lap or near his person when he is not playing! He absolutely loves toys, the squeakier the better, and wants you to play tug of war or fetch with him. Dunn would probably enjoy having a home with another small dog, but he would be okay as an only as long as he didn't spend too much time alone. He is better with dogs that are closer to his size and not bouncy or in his face. A dog who can tolerate a busy little dog all up in their business would be best for him! Dunn is great on a leash but we are requiring a home with a fenced yard for him. He is working on his potty training and does mark, but is learning. As with most dogs, a solid routine and positive reinforcement is the key! At night Dunn will sleeps in the big bed or on the sofa, but he prefers to be close to his person. He has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. He had a dental cleaning too! MORE about DUNN: Dunn ignores cats. We do not think he would be the best fit for a home with young kids but think he would be okay with older ones familiar with small dogs. He has a good appetite and eats well.
