About Sassy

My mom found Sassy a few years ago in Bakersfield, California. We believe she is about 6-7 years old. She has been well taken care of and spoiled by my mom for many years. But, unfortunately, my mom passed away in December 2023. I've been fostering Sassy at my home in Portland, Oregon, but it is time for her to find a new living situation. She gets along with my dog (a big boy boxer), and I know she had interactions with other cats at my mom's house, but I'm not sure how it went. She is friendly, curious, and sweet. She loves to cuddle, and will also chase her tail, shriek when she catches it! She has a lot of personality and would make a Maine Coon lover very happy! She likes exploring outside, but stays close to the house. She may initially seem shy, but she likes being around people, and especially having a special person, which, unfortunately is not me. Her fur is long, beautiful, and soft. She's had a lion cut through summer, and this picture was taken Sept 26, 2024, so her fur isn't grown out much. Like most Maine Coons, she hates a closed door and will let you know how she feels!
