About Rosemary

Rosemary is a very sweet girl. She is on the small side for a hound, approx. 35 lbs. and 4-5 yrs. old. Poor Rosemary was adopted and returned. She had dry eye which required eye drops (not expensive) and her new owner chose to have the eye remove instead. Poor girl now is handicapped....Their other dog did not like Rosemary so she was returned to our shelter. She is a nice girl and deserves a wonderful home. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. We do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer.
